MIKE CARRAWAY

Mike is the guitarist for the Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine. Born in Lubbock, Mike started playing guitar at home in the 6th grade. He played drums all through school, but he always kept his guitar nearby. He attended Texas Tech and is currently teaching Commercial Music, Ensembles and Guitar at South Plains College. Among his accomplishments include two appearances on Country Music Television with Giant Records recording artist, Daron Norwood along with an appearance on The Grand Ole Opry. In 1994, he had two songs in the top 100 Billboard chart "If It Wasn’t For Her (I Wouldn’t Have You)", and two appearances in 1994 on the national cable TV show, "Crook and Chase Show." He is married to Cassie and has a seven year old son, Nathaniel.
