DONNIE ALLISON

Originally from Wichita Falls, Donnie moved to West Texas in the early 70’s. In the 80’s, Donnie toured with the popular rock band, "The Nelsons." Donnie performed in the "Fabulous Fifties Nostalgia Nite" which was the first production at the Cactus Theater in October of 1994. Through the years Donnie has remained an integral part of the high caliber entertainment presented at the Cactus Theater. Donnie, along with Jeff Bailey, Mark Paden, and Jason Fellers, made up the sensationally popular doo wop group, "The JDs" (or juvenile delinquents). Donnie has appeared in many Cactus productions including 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s "Nostalgia Nites," "Rock and Blue Revue," "Cactus Family Christmas Celebration," "Girls Nite Out" and "The Donnie Allison Show" to name just a few. Donnie received rave reviews for his portrayal of Buddy Holy in Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story and recently finished a "Tribute to the Everly Brothers" at the Cactus Theater with Jason Fellers. Donnie and his wife, Stephanie, are the proud parents of Zachary Wayne.
