Kristi Clanton
16 year old Kristi Clanton has been a vocal student of Terri Caldwell & original Cactus Kid since age 6. She has been featured in numerous Cactus shows including the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s "Nostalgia Nites," & the "Tribute to Elvis." She has performed on the "Boys Ranch Telethon" & the "4th on Broadway Evening Concert," as well as throughout West Texas. In 2002, Kristi was the featured entertainer at the "Miss Nevada Pageant" in Las Vegas. Award winning LA songwriter, Darren Wilsey, chose Kristi as the vocalist to record "Sometimes," a song for an NBC sitcom, "Miss Match." She has recorded a demo CD & has her own website, www.kristiclanton.com. As a Junior at Monterey High School, Kristi is a straight A student, All American Varsity Cheerleader, on the competitive Math team & also writes for the Lubbock AJ’s teen page, "A Word In Edgewise." Kristi enjoys playing guitar & hanging out with her friends. She has a sister, Heather Hodel, of Dallas. She is the daughter of Dwayne & Liz Clanton, owners of Tom & Bingo’s BBQ. |
