Terri Caldwell
A Levelland native, Terri began singing at the age of six and became a child star in the West Texas area when she was selected as a regular on the KLBK TV Country Music Show "Pickin’ Time." She performed on that show through her early teens and in 1979 launched her recording career with her Billboard’s Top 40 recording of "Gypsy Eyes." Though opting to raise a family, she has remained active in the recording business as a songwriter, producer, background vocalist and jingle writer/singer. Terri has played an integral part in the growth and recognition of West Texas Music. Terri has been heavily involved in the Cactus Theater productions since she and Don established the Cactus Theater Corporation in 1994. Whether starring as Patsy Cline in the critically acclaimed production of Always... Patsy Cline or being a featured vocalist in "Nostalgia Nites", Terri is without a doubt a Cactus favorite. Along with her involvement with the Cactus productions, Terri created and founded the Cactus Kids mentor program and teaches a number of talented singers and performers. |
