| THE SANDERS FAMILY IS BACK!
The Sanders Family is offering another glimpse at the lives of a rural southern band of gospel singers. The troupe of delightful characters that warmed your hearts in "Smoke on the Mountain" and "The Sanders Family Christmas" is returning to the Cactus Theater in "Smoke on the Mountain - the Homecoming". It's 1945 and Reverend Mervin Oglethorpe of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church is married to June Sanders who shows up very pregnant, and still not singing...but signing. The young couple is preparing to leave the community and head to a Baptist Church in Texas. The twins, Dennis, who is taking over as pastor, and Denise offer their vocal skills as well as their parents, Vera and Burl and the tarnished Uncle Stanley. It's a fun and inspiring time for the entire family starring Cactus favorites Jane Prince Jones, Mike Morgan, Donnie Allison, Cami Caldwell, Toby Caldwell,Tamara Wallace, Kenny Maines, Marilyn Arland, Mark Paden and more!
