Don’t miss this annual holiday homecoming show at the historic Cactus Theater - Saturday, November 30 - during Thanksgiving weekend!

The Sounds of West Texas Concert Series will be presenting the annual "Home For the Holidays" show. This show will have songs about love, family, home, Christmas, as well as gospel, and All kinds of styles and kinds of music such as country, pop, pop nostalgia, soft rock and folk, that will leave the audience feeling hopeful, happy and inspired. This is a great show for the whole family (including out of town guests who are visiting for Thanksgiving.) This is a perfect show for those who are looking for something to do after the big holiday! There will be songs such as: "Lord I Hope This Day is Good," "Whispered Prayer," "Put a Little Love in Your Heart," "Oh, Holy Night," "Church on Cumberland Road,” "Don't Let the Old Man In," just to name a few. This show is unique in that some of the singers perform jingles for some of the sponsors, and makes it fun and entertaining. There will be door prizes given away (donated by local businesses) to some lucky audience members and that will take place at 6:50, and during the intermission. This show starts at a different time than most Cactus shows - kicking off officially at 7:00 pm. The doors will open at 6:00 pm.

Featured performers will be: Larry Allen, Jerry Brownlow, Steve Burrus, Leah Bynum, Megan Bynum, Danny Dukatnik, Jimmy Henderson, Mike Huffman, Kassidy King, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Spencer Morgan, Kaci Sallee, Riley Solberg, Betty Smith, Keith Smith, Mark Wallney, Terry Westbrook, Steve Williams - and more performers could make surprise appearances. Emcee for the evening will be Billy Don Hampton. The audience will hear some of the best musicians and singers in the Lubbock area and will truly enjoy their performances!
