About this Event:
Enjoy the modern classic romance film “Ghost” starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore - preceded with heavy hors d'oeuvres - at the historic Cactus Theater (1812 Buddy Holly Ave). Doors open at 5 pm with food served adjacent to the stage/screen - up until the film starts at 6 pm. Note: Single tickets are available for all packages; online ordering allows purchase of 1 or 2 tickets.
If you wish to include dinner after the movie which ends at 8:00 pm, you’ll select the second package - which includes heading over to Lubbock's 4-star MCM Eleganté Hotel & Suites (801 Ave Q) for a delicious dinner for two AFTER THE FILM.
A third package includes a romantic evening in a king suite with breakfast included the next morning!
Here is a recap of the three (3) packages you’ll choose from:
• $49 / couple for hors d'oeuvres before the movie and film screening at historic Cactus Theater; (a single ticket is also available);
• $189 / couple for hors d'oeuvres, the movie and a Valentine’s Day Steak or Marry Me Chicken at the hotel after the film; (a single ticket is also available);
• $299 / couple for hors d'oeuvres, the movie and a Valentine’s Day Steak or Marry Me Chicken dinner selections at the hotel after the film; a king suite for overnight stay with after-dinner drink tickets and breakfast the next morning; (a single ticket is also available).
Dinner options at the hotel (after the film) include:
Valentine’s Day Steak or Marry Me Chicken, Roasted Heart Potatoes or a Loaded Baked Potato, choice of vegetable: steamed Asparagus or Steamed Mixed Vegetables, Rice Pilaf, Soup, Salad Bar, Dinner Roll, choice of exquisite desserts and your choice of Red or White Wine or Champagne.
Room package will include an Atrium King room that includes a complimentary hot breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order the following morning.
About the Film:
Ghost is a 1990 American romance film directed by Jerry Zucker, written by Bruce JoelRubin and starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg and Tony Goldwyn. It focuses on Sam Wheat (Swayze), a murdered banker, whose ghost sets out to save his girlfriend, Molly Jensen (Moore), from the person who arranged his murder (Goldwyn) – through the help of the psychic Oda Mae Brown (Goldberg).
The film is rated PG-13 and running time is 2 hours, 7 minutes.
