For this unique show, we’ll re-visit the origins of the music we all know and love!

The Birth of Rock ’n’ Roll - 1950s

From the earliest rockers like Bill Haley and HIs Comets to the young Elvis Presley and our own Buddy Holly - to the early vocal groups that defined the style that became known as doo wop.

Rock’s Second Generation: Pop, Surf and Soul - 1960s

We’ll remember the great pop sensations, the one-hit wonders and the sounds that stretched across the pond and influenced a whole new wave of British rockers who made their way to the USA.

Groups like The Beatles, The Four Tops, the “girl groups” and Motown.  We’ll spotlight the great soul singers and songs that defined the second wave of rock.

Coming of Age:  Pop to Disco - The 1970s

We’ll shine a spotlight on the groups that helped shape the third wave of rock stars with an incredible run of chart-toppers that took popular music from the songwriters to experimental rock to disco and beyond.
