The Sounds of West Texas group will present “A Night of Chart-Toppers” on Saturday, March 7th. They will be performing some of the best hit songs that have ever been written - and by some of Lubbock's best performers while many of the area’s top musicians are in the house band. This show is a family show that all ages will enjoy due to having songs from all different genres and time periods from the ’50's all the way to current hits in traditional country, soft rock, pop, rhythm & blues and Texas Country music.
Featured performers will be: Larry Allen, Jason Fellers, Ty Chisum, Jimmy Henderson, Mike Huffman, Donetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Jeff McCreight, Cale Richardson, Betty Smith, Brent Smith, Dakota Tauferner, Mark Wallney, Steve Williams and Erin Wolff. Kurt Kiser will emcee for the evening and keep things entertaining with his quick wit and funny antics!
There are no other shows in Lubbock like the Sounds of West Texas. The show is unique with fun jingles performed to promote the businesses that help sponsor the show. Door prizes donated by local businesses will be given away before the show and after intermission - and this adds to the excitement of the evening.
